On Wednesday, January 0, 2019, we will have a colloquium with two talks on the history of the Fresnel Wave Surface. Eisso Atzema (University of Maine) will speak about "Ferdinand Engel (1805-1866) and the Models of the Fresnel Wave Surface at the University of Mississippi", and Marta Jordi Taltavull (Mainz) will speak about "From Physics to Mathematics, from Fresnel to Pluecker: the Fresnel wave surface".
